Immunoassay stabilizers are required for preserving the native conformation of proteins and to protect them from losing their functionality. Our range of stabilizers allow long-term storage of antibodies, conjugates (HRP-labeled or AP-labeled) and antigens in solutions or coated onto surfaces. Multiple products are available:
- Antibody Stabilizer – a stabilizer for long-term refrigerated storage of antibodies and proteins, avoiding the need for freezing and thawing.
- HRP-Protector™ - diluent for long-term storage of HRP conjugates.
- Liquid Plate Sealer® - stabilizer for coated antibodies and antigens on polystyrene or glass surfaces, such as ELISA plates and immunochromatographic test strips in LFIA.
- AP-Protector® - diluent for long-term storage of alkaline phosphatase conjugates.
- LowCross® HRP-Stab – Multifunctional reagent: diluent for long-term storage of HRP conjugates and optimizer for minimizing nonspecific binding.
To achieve consistent, reliable results in immunoassays, it is essential to preserve standards for calibration curves, coated plates and antibodies during storage. Our stabilizers can be used for preserving the activity of all biological components of an immunoassay. Additionally, our stabilizers can help optimize the production process, as larger batches can be produced due to the longer shelf life of the assay components.
